Mr Kinyua M’Mbijjewe

   Biography
 
Kinyua M’Mbijjewe. Monsanto Corporate Affairs Lead in Africa, responsible for liaison with government and various public constituencies to foster an environment conducive to the understanding and acceptance of Monsanto’s products, particularly modern biotechnology crops, across key African countries. Kinyua is also responsible for Monsanto’s development partnerships in Africa, working with a wide range of public and private organisations to enhance farmer productivity and commercial viability. He joined Monsanto over 10 years ago and is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to joining Monsanto his academic and career background was in the food industry. He is passionate about the need to enhance agricultural productivity across Africa for food security and increased income, through the use of enabling technologies, accessible markets and the promotion of a conducive policy and regulatory environment. Kinyua is married with two children and farms in his spare time.
