The Inscriptions Digital Library Project

The Inscriptions Digital Library Project is considered a digital recording of all inscriptions found on ancient buildings and monuments throughout the ages. These inscriptions are  digitally displayed for the user including a brief description and pictures of the inscriptions. In addition, these writings will be published on the Center's website in their original language with Arabic and English translations of the relevant text.

The project will be executed in several stages. It was agreed to choose 12 kinds of scripts, as a first stage. These scripts are:

- Arabic                                    - Turkish
- Greek                                     - Coptic
- Persian                                   - Thamodic
- Nabatean                                - Hieroglyphic
