Fourth International Forum on Calligraphy, Writings and Inscriptions “coins in the world”

The Calligraphy Center in Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing the Fourth International Forum on Calligraphy,Writings and Inscriptions from 16-18 March 2009, in the Conference Center, Small Theatre. The main topic of the forum will be “Coins in the World”.
Our aim in holding this conference is to further strengthen the dialogue that has been going on about the history of Banknotes and Coins, recognizing the different inscriptions and writings on coins in the world.
The Forum will be accompanied by two Exhibitions Halls (BACC East Exhibition Hall & BACC West Exhibition Hall). The exhibitions will last from the conference opening 16/3/2009 till 31/3/2007. Please visit: http://www.bibalex.org/English/conferences/exhibitionhalls.htm
For those who are interested in displaying the History of coins, the calligraphy center will be pleased to host different and rare collections from Museums, Exhibitions and any other organizations related to this field.
