Dear Participants,
The Organizing Committee of the ICE in Bibliotheca Alexandrina with the International Association of Egyptologists and the Ministry of States of Antiquities, had decided to postpone the date of the congress till September 2014 instead of September 2013, in order to allow more participants to register.

The Calligraphy Center -affiliated to- Bibliotheca Alexandrina- is honored to announce hosting professor Paul Dilley, Ph.D. Religious Studies, Yale University (2008), Dissertation: “The Care of the Other in Ancient Monasticism: A Cultural History of Ascetic Guidance.” A study of “spiritual direction” from the perspective of social and cultural history. Currently He is an Assistant Professor of History and Religious Studies, Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies.
