Study Rooms Policy

 

 

The study room is for individuals who desire a strict no-noise atmosphere and is available for the following group of individuals:

  • Graduate Student
  • Post Doctoral
  • University Staff
  • Researchers

(An ID that proves belonging to any of these groups must be presented before reservation)

Hours of use

Study rooms are available whenever the library is open.

Reservation

The study room is booked with your library card. The rooms are available on F1, E, B1, B2,and B3 on a first-come-first-served basis. It is possible to reserve a study room in advance in person or by telephone.

Study rooms will be held 30 minutes beyond the reservation time, at which the reservation will be cancelled. Users who will not need a study room they had reserved should cancel 1 day in advance.

The person to whom the room has been allocated is the only one who may use it.

You must fill an application form at the information desk before booking the study room.

 

Instructions

ID card must be left at the info desk while the person is using the study room. If only one person uses a study room, he/she is not allowed to have a friend accompanied him.

Make sure you leave the room in the same state you would like to find it yourself.

Eating, drinking or smoking is absolutely not allowed, violates are subject to severe penalties.

Users are responsible for keeping their private property with them at all times.

Library security will periodically inspect study rooms. Failure to comply with the Rules of the study rooms use will result in the evection of the user. The Library has the right to cancel a patron's booking. Future use of study rooms will be dependent upon adherence to these behavior guidelines.

 

Facilities

There are PCs in the study rooms connected to the library network and internet. You can send emails through the notepad. Personal laptop can only be electrically wired. (no internet connections).
