Computing Service
More than 250 networked computers are available
in the main reading hall for BA users, through which, PC users can
access BA Catalog, selected websites, databases and other electronic
resources. Computers do not include MS office programs (MSWord,
Excel, Power point and Access). Information received can be printed
for a nominal fee or e-mailed. (ask for a pre-paid card at
the membership desk).
A valid BA membership card, or a day ticket, must be submitted at the Specialized Information Desk to reserve
a computer workstation.
PCs are connected to laser printers. To access the
printer, a pre-paid copy card must be purchased at the membership
desk.
E-mailing of search results is also available with most databases.
All library visitors can have access to the BA Catalog through the computers on stands.
Personal Laptops and notebooks are allowed
under the supervision of the ICT team.

General Instructions
- Computers are available as resources
for educational, informational and scholarly purposes, not for
unauthorized, illegal or unethical purposes.
- The library uses filtering software.
Users will not be able to install their personal software
nor use computers to access personal e-mails, games, online shopping,
gambling, etc. Chatrooms and messenger services are not available.
- Misuse of computers disqualifies patrons from future use of
library computers.
