A small ceremony at the BA Antiquities Museum was held on Thursday, 7 December 2006, to present the restoration process of a mosaic piece found at the BA site during the construction stage. In 1998, BNP Paribas funded the restoration process carried out by L'Atelier de Restauration du Musée de l'Arles et de la Provence Antiques and le Centre d'Etudes Alexandrines (CEA). |

Jean Yves Empereur explains one of the pieces at the Museum |
The ceremony started by a detailed presentation of the piece by Jean-Yves Empereur, Director of le Centre d'Etudes Alexandrines (CEA). Empereur spoke on the restoration by l'Arles et de la Provence Antiques, in cooperation with le Centre d'Etudes Alexandrines (CEA) and the Supreme Council for Antiquities. The presentation was followed by a reception for the bank staff and a guided tour of the museum. The audience expressed their admiration of the museum and the method of display. |
