Opening hours

The Museum is open Friday to Thursday except on Tuesday, public holidays and certain additional days, which are advertised in advance, during the following hours:

• Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 to 18:30
• Friday and Saturday: 15:00 to 18:30
• The Museum is open to the public aged 12 years and above. Please note that a maximum of 30 persons are allowed at any one time in the museum.

Guided Tours

Free-guided tours in seven languages (Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Greek) are provided upon entering the museum.

Admission

• Tickets are available for purchase from the main ticket booth in the front of the entrance of the museum (B1 level)

Group visits should be arranged with the museum in advance.

• The use of a camera also requires a ticket:

  3. Video Camera EGP 15
  4. Television Camera EGP 1000

Flash photography is not permitted within the museum.
