Announcement:

The BA Planetarium will be opened to the public on Monday and Tuesday, 1 – 2 January 2007, with the following schedule:

Monday, 1 January 2007

• 11:30 am Oasis in Space (25 min.)
  13:30 pm Ring of Fire (35 min.)

Tuesday, 2 January 2007

• 11:30 am Oasis in Space (25 min.)
  13:30 pm Mystery of the Nile (45 min.)
  

General regulations

Individual reservations

• Arrival should be 15 minutes before the scheduled show time.
• The minimum number of persons for running a show is 5 persons. (10 Persons for running the Stars show)
• Tickets for non-Egyptians are EGP 25.
• For Egyptians, an additional EGP 5 is required for English headphones.

group reservations

• Reservations are to be made at least two weeks in advance.
• Confirmation: 50% deposit is to be paid at least four days before the visit.
• Cancellation has to be made at least 2 days before the show, otherwise deposits will not be refunded.
• Arrival should be 30 minutes before the show; otherwise the reservation will be cancelled and deposits will not be refunded.
• Shows can be run in English instead of Arabic but not for a reservation of less than 80 persons.

Notes:

• Every group of 25 to 80 persons is entitled to two additional free tickets.
• Every group of more than 80 persons is entitled to three additional free tickets.

ADDITIONAL SHOWS

Requests for shows outside the scheduled show times should adhere to the following:

• The entire planetarium theater should be reserved in advance for video panorama, live or laser shows.
• Half the planetarium theater should be reserved in case of IMAX shows.
• An additional EGP 5 will be added to the price of each ticket.
• The reserved show can be changed but only to a higher category, but not vice versa.

General Note:

• The Planetarium may change its shows without prior notification.
