The Virtual Tour

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) has embarked on several projects concerning the implementation of virtual visits to several sites of BA. The project will include the following:

• Providing electronic tour guides through PDAs to the archeological museum, situated inside BA. This effort is carried out by CULTNAT.
• Offering a virtual visit to the Manuscript Museum at BA.
• Creating a virtual visit of the whole Library of Alexandria, including the exterior and interior architecture in 3D and a visit of all the physical exhibitions featured in BA. This project is currently being implemented within ISIS.
