Computing
The Young People's Library has computers for
holders of a library membership card, providing access to the following:
- A vast selection of useful websites
- The Library Catalog as well as catalogs of other
libraries.
- Selection of installed CD-ROMs.
- Student Resources Center, where young users may search subscribed
databases and e-journals.
Guidelines for Use of Computer Workstations:

As the number of computers available in the YP Library is
limited, members may use library computer workstations for only
one hour per day.

Young members must present their library card to library staff
and sign up in person at the YP Information Desk before using the computer.
Workstation reservations by telephone are not acceptable.

Users have no access to use their own disks or CDs. Users
are also not allowed to use computers for chatting, gambling
or online shopping. The library reserves the right to terminate
the user’s Internet connection if any of the mentioned conditions
occurrs.

Word-processing programs and Microsoft office programs are
not available on the public access computers. However, users
may use e-mail or the note-pad.
