Bibliotheca Alexandrina has completely revamped its Digital Assets Repository (DAR) into a new version, which offers users a variety of customization tools and allows for more interaction of users with each other and with the repository.
Historic Arabic Medical Manuscripts go online
Availing hundreds of ancient Arabic medical manuscripts online, the Wellcome Arabic Manuscript Cataloguing Partnership (WAMCP) combines the efforts of the Wellcome Library, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and King’s College London Digital Humanities Department and is funded by JISC and the Wellcome Trust.
