The Short Story Competition

The Children’s Library announces the Short Story Competition. This Competition aims to enhance children the love of writing, and discover new talents in story writing in order to develop these talents and introduce them to the cultural arena. The competition also aims to encourage children with talents and help them realize the extent of their intellectual capabilities to help them express in writing what affects their souls and makes them creative. 

Obtaining Participation forms:

From Sunday, 26 May to Wednesday 5 June 2013.

Submitting Competition Material:

Ø  Last day to submit the short stories: Wednesday, 10 July 2013.

Ø  The story is submitted along with the participation form and a copy of the membership card at the Children’s Library Information Desk.

Competition Results:

Ø  Submitted works are evaluated, and the 5 first winners are honored at the Children’s Library Summer Activities celebration held on Thursday, 29 August 2013.

Ø  Winners shall be notified by phone of the Competition results before 30 July 2013. 

·         مسابقة القصة القصيرة

تعلن مكتبة الطفل عن تنظيم مسابقة للقصة القصيرة؛ بهدف تعزيز حب الكتابة وتعظيمها في نفوس الأطفال، وكذلك لاكتشاف المواهب الجديد ة في فن كتابة القصة وتنميتها وتقديمها للساحة الثقافية، وتحفيز المبدعين في هذا المجال، بالإضافة إلى مساعدة الطفل على معرفة مدى ما يتمتع به من خصوبة فكرية تساعده على كتابة ما يشعر به من تأثيرات فكرية تؤثر على وجدانه وتجعله مبدعًا وخلاقًا.

موعد سحب استمارات الاشتراك

من يوم الأحد 26 مايو إلى يوم الأربعاء 5 يونية.

تسليم المسابقة:

Ø   آخر موعد لاستلام القصة القصيرة يوم الأربعاء 10 يوليو.

Ø   تُسَلَّم القصة بالإضافة إلى استمارة الاشتراك وصورة للعضوية في مكتب معلومات مكتبة الطفل.

نتيجة المسابقة:

Ø   سيتم تقييم الأعمال المقدمة، وسيتم تكريم الفائزين الخمسة الأوائل فقط في حفل نهاية الأنشطة الصيفية لمكتبة الطفل.

Ø   سيتم إخطار الفائزين فقط تليفونيًّا عن نتيجة المسابقة في موعد أقصاه 30 يوليو.
