Arabic Poetry
Poets are the source of inspiration for many peoples. The destiny of one people can transform from bad to better and vice versa at the hands of their poets. They have the ability to manipulate words and play with synonyms like the cook who stirs food in a pot, stirring with it minds and hearts. Poetry is sweet. For this reason the BA Children’s Library is keen on developing poetry skills in children of ages 9 to 11, in order to instill in them the ability to appreciate Arabic poetry, with its colorful words and synonyms. Through a series of poetry workshop, children will be able to:
- Read poetry well.
- Get to know the great Arabic and English poets.
- Add new terms to their linguistic dictionaries.
- Understand some life concepts.
- Write some poetry pieces of their own.
- Perform some poetry pieces on stage.
· الشعر العربي
الشعراء هم مصدر إلهام الكثير من الشعوب. وقد يتحول مصير شعب من سيء إلى أفضل والعكس على أيدي الشعراء. فهم في قدرتهم على التلاعب بالألفاظ والتلون بالمفردات مثل الطاهى الذي يقلب الطعام في القدر فيقلب معه العقول والقلوب. فالشعر مذاقه حلو، ومن هذا المنطلق حرصت مكتبة الطفل على أن تنمي المهارات الشعرية لدى الأطفال من سن (9-11) سنة؛ حتى يكون لديهم القدرة على استطعام مذاق الشعر العربي الطيب والتلون بألفاظه ومفرداته المبهجة. فمن خلال سلسلة من ورش الشعر سيستطيع الأطفال معرفة الآتي:
· قراءة الشعر بشكل جيد.
· التعرف على عظماء الشعر العربي والإنجليزي.
· إضافة مفردات جديدة إلى قواميسهم اللغوية.
· توصيل بعض المفاهيم الحياتية إليهم.
· عمل مقطوعات شعرية من تأليفهم.
· تمثيل بعض مقاطع الشعر على المسرح.
