Arabic Library Standards in the Second Conference by
the Library and Information Science Department
in Alexandria

The second conference organized by the Library and Information Science Department, Alexandria University, in cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, under the theme “Creativity in teaching library, information and documentation sciences” will be held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Alexandria, Egypt, 3–4 October 2018.
The Conference aims at developing the librarianship profession through creating high calibers via adopting creative methodologies in the undergraduate education system, to meet the 21st century needs. The Conference features a number of eminent keynote speakers and is highly attended by library and information science professionals and academics.
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, represented in the Arabic Library Standards, attends the Conference, exhibiting a range of its projects, such as MARC 21 Formats in Arabic, in addition to presenting its developing new projects and standards.

المعايير العربية للمكتبات تشارك بالمؤتمر الثاني

يُعقد المؤتمر الثاني الذي ينظمه قسم المكتبات والمعلومات، جامعة الإسكندرية، بالتعاون مع مكتبة الإسكندرية، تحت عنوان «الإبداع في تعليم علوم المكتبات والمعلومات والوثائق»، بمركز المؤتمرات، مكتبة الإسكندرية، في مدينة الإسكندرية، بجمهورية مصر العربية، في 3 و4 أكتوبر 2018
.
ويهدف المؤتمر إلى تطوير مهنة المكتبات من خلال العمل على خلق كوادر بشرية مميزة، عن طريق استخدام طرق إبداعية في نظام التعليم الجامعي، لمواكبة متطلبات القرن الواحد والعشرين. ويشهد المؤتمر متحدثين بارزين من المختصين في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات، بالإضافة إلى كوكبة من الحضور المهني والأكاديمي.

المعايير العربية للمكتبات
في المؤتمر؛ حيث تعرض مشاريعها المختلفة، مثل «صيغ مارك 21» بالعربية، بالإضافة إلى مشاريعها المستقبلية.
