Mohamed  Younis

Biography:

Dr. Younis is the author of “Daughters of the Nile: The Evolution of Feminism in Egypt” (Washington & Lee Journal of Civil Rights & Social Justice, 2007), a study of the role of Islam in the women’s rights movement of modern Egypt. He makes frequent guest appearances for television, radio, and print media worldwide, including BBC Arabic, BBC Asia, BBC Wales, the Egyptian Satelite Chanel, Orbit, Al Hayat, Aljazeera, On tv, Al Ahram, Al Ahram Weekly and Washington post. Dr. Younis studied political sociology at the University of California, Riverside. He received a juris doctorate degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and is a member of the Virginia State Bar. Dr. Younis has lived, studied and worked in Egypt and the Gulf.
