Biography:

Ms. Darwish is a pharmacist by training and holds two master degrees in Development Studies, Senghor University, Egypt and International Health Policy, Brandies University, MA, USA. Ms. Darwish has joined the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in 2005. Since then; she has been in charge of different activities, ranging from the scientific content of Life Science conferences, lectures and workshops to the management of different funded projects. In 2009, she became the Deputy Director for CSSP that aims to promote quality research in Egypt, the Arab World and the rest of the developing world. The CSSP provides need-based quality skills training for scientists and researchers and research grants to Egyptian postdoctoral researchers and organizes different workshops, lectures and conferences that focus on introducing up to date technologies in Life Sciences to Egyptian researchers.
