Yasmine Yehia Wins the First Place Award in Intel ISEF 2015

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina sends warm wishes to Yasmine Yehia for winning the first place in the Environmental Sciences category during the 2015 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair finals for her project “Making Use of Gray Water”, the fair was held in the United States of America.

Alex Fair 2015

The Planetarium Science Center is organizing Alex Fair 2015, which is considered as a screening phase for Intel Bibliotheca Alexandrina Science and Engineering Fair 2015, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center during the period 10-11 February 2015. The winning project will participate in Intel Bibliotheca Alexandrina Science and Engineering Fair, which will be held during the period 16-18 March 2015.

19 January, 2015, marks a very unique day in the history of the Planetarium Science Center of Bibliotheca Alexandrina and CERN organization. It is the Inauguration of “Alphabet of the Universe, From CERN to North Africa and Middle East” Exhibition. The Exhibition was established by the PSC in collaboration with CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, founded in 1952 with the mandate of establishing a world-class fundamental physics research organization in Europe.

The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in collaboration with CERN have established the exhibition of “Fundamental Physics Exhibition, from CERN to North Africa and the Middle East”. CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research, founded in 1952 with the mandate of establishing a world-class fundamental physics research organization in Europe.
