Mona Alalawi is currently the Director of Inspection at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. She is also the President of the Bahrain Women Association for Human Development, and a consultant for the Environment Citizenship Program. She holds a BSc in chemistry, with extensive experience, both nationally and on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) level, in regulations for safety, efficiency, and environment protection. She has participated in several conferences and presented papers on her professional and volunteer areas. Mona was granted the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit, 2021, and was among the ten winners of the Government Innovation Competition award, in 2019.
