Born in Damietta, Rokaya Samir is a chemical engineering student and will graduate in 2018. She is a nerd, jack-of-all-trades, who have passion for all art forms. Her passion for reading and writing started when she was in the primary school, thanks to the great authors Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfiq and Dr. Nabil Farouk. Since then, she works hard to improve her skills aiming to link science with our everyday life.

Seham Elsherif graduated from the Faculty of Science, Biophysics Department in 2011, and obtained her Master's degree in 2014. Her passion for science and languages directed her into the field of scientific and medical translation; she began working in translation since 2017. Seham believes in the importance of science communication and enriching individuals’ scientific culture. She is interested in writing about innovations, environment, the history of science, among other diverse scientific topics.

Soha El Borgy is a graduate of the English Department with a major in Linguistics and Translation. Upon graduating, she pursued her career in translation, then made a shift to a career in teaching English. Growing up, she has shown interest in the world of science specifically biology and astronomy. She has written articles in different fields of science.

Youssef graduated from Cairo University with a degree in Biotechnology. He works as a biology content developer at Nagwa Limited, an educational technology startup. He is Africa’s ambassador of the international Genetically Engineered Machines (iGEM) competition 2021. Youssef is passionate about Synthetic Biology, STEM education, and Science Communication.

Zahraa graduated from the Faculty of Science, Geology Department in 2008, and started her career in science communication and writing in 2016. She worked as a freelance and full-time writer for different online platforms, and published several scientific articles in “Popular Science” online Arabic edition, as well as other Arabic websites.
