Abstract:
This paper is a contribution to the United Nations Conferance on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) conference on green and renewable technologies (February 2010). An overview is provided of the scope of SNV’s work in domestic biogas. Features of the technology, SNV’s market-oriented approach and the involvement of the Nepalese Government are discussed in general and in the context of the Nepalese Biogas Support Programme (BSP).
