Any discussion of costs leads inevitably to my next topic. Today, our world is becoming ever smaller and more integrated. I’ll use myself as an example. I have staff working in seven major facilities and in cities throughout the nation (in Atlanta, Washington, Austin, Oklahoma City, and New York) – and soon throughout the world. And yet, through traditional and wireless communications systems, email, faxes, and video-conferencing, we seem in many ways closer together than ever before.
