500 g rib eye, thinly sliced
3 onions, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tbsp ghee
1 heaped tsp cumin
2 heaped tbsp coriander
3 tbsp tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
500 ml beef broth
- Put all ingredients, except broth, into a pot and place over medium heat.
- Stir occasionally until beef has changed colour and the spices give off a strong aroma.
- Add beef broth and bring to the boil then lower heat and simmer until beef is very tender. Add more broth during cooking if needed.
