   Poetry: Oh, Mohiba!

Mother of our annual bus excursions, great navigator of the sands,

Oh Mohiba, oh Mohiba! Glittering black jewel of Tour Bus Number One.

Have I forgotten once again your many kindnesses and your thoughtfulness?

I’m sure I have. But it is not the alcohol that has wiped clear my memory but good food, great mountains of it, as tall as the Sinai,

But now we must fly to our own nests, across the oceans, with fond memories of

Alexandria, city of lights and peace -- and for us through you, hospitality that will ensure our return to our dear Mohiba.

David Wardrup, Thou Great Man,

Of course we all agree that Mohiba is The First Lady in Alexandria and Your "poem" was on the dot...
