Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 59 years old.
BA from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College.
Working experience in banking, consulting and industry.
In the lat 8 years has been working in biotechnology, starting with EXTRACTA, a plant extract R&D outfit, then ran the Biotech Industry Association and presently works for Genoa Biotecnologia that produces melanoma and CCR therapeutic vaccines, molecular diagnostics in the Human Division and bovine genotyping and animal diagnostics in its Animal Division.
