Marwa Elwakil is Head of Scientific Activities Section and Acting Head of BioVisionAlexandria Conference Unit at the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Egypt. Through her work at the CSSP, she organizes a number of major annual scientific, technological and educational conferences and establishes sustainable networks of international collaboration. Marwa holds a M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt. At the CSSP, she was and currently is a leader and coordinator of many collaborative scientific and educational projects such as South to South Collaboration for Genomics Innovation with University of Toronto, Canada, Education for Sustainable Development beyond the Campus within the TEMPUS framework and many others. She co-authored and edited a number of publications.
