The Bibliotheca Alexandrina was organizing its eighth International Biennial Conference, BioVisionAlexandria 2016, 12-14 April 2016, in Alexandria, Egypt.
Today, innovation in science and technology is moving fast and in diverse directions. One research carries hopes and benefits, while another brings along risks and dangers. Today, we need to emphasize the potentials of research and science, and discuss the ethical responsibilities of research management and their outcome. Together, we will delve into the road ahead to perceive the opportunities, benefits, and controversial threats it hides for us. Together, we will use research and science for the benefit of our world as well as discover solutions for the challenges and obstacles we may face.
The theme of BVA 2016 was New Life Sciences: “The Road Ahead” where we explored the way ahead to make the best out of scientific research and innovation with minimal pitfalls possible. The BA launched a track under the title “Robotics and Biorobotics in Life Sciences”, in hope to turn this track into an annual independent conference the coming years and to tackle this research field in depth for the benefit of society, especially developing countries.
