Beating Cancer Cells to Death with
Gold Nanoparticles in More than One Way
The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World-Arab Regional Office (TWAS-ARO), held a Public lecture entitled: "Beating Cancer Cells to Death with Gold Nanoparticles in More than One Way" .

The lecture was presented by Professor Mostafa
El-Sayed; Professor, School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and it has shed light on the newest findings and techniques in using gold-nanoparticles in cancer treatment.
The lecture was held in the Great Hall at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Conference Center on 23 December 2010 at 14:00 pm.
