Benjamin Gyampoh

Biography:

Dr. Benjamin Apraku Gyampoh is currently the Programme Officer at the African Academy of Sciences (AAS) in Nairobi Kenya. At the AAS he lead the implementation of the Climate Impact Research Capacity and Leadership Enhancement (CIRCLE) programme.

He is a Ghanaian and has background in Natural Resources Management and Watershed Management. Before joining the African Academy of Sciences, he worked as Research Officer at the Africa Office of the International Water Management Institute in Accra Ghana. He has worked as Consultant and Lead Researcher for the UNDP's Africa Adaptation Programme in Ghana. His main areas of research and publicarions are on Climate Change Vulnerability Analysis, Developing Adaptation Strategies to Climate Change and Indigenous knowlesge in Climate Sciences.
