Menat Zanaty

Biography:

Menat Zanaty received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Alexandria University in 2007. Afterwards, she completed her Healthcare and Hospital Management Diploma from the AUC in 2012, and her Master?s in Public Health from Alexandria University in 2015. Menat is particularly interested in public health research, where she participated in several research projects conducted in Egypt. After her training, she took a position as an Assistant Researcher in Bibliotheca Alexandrina. She is affiliated with the BA Director?s Technical Office.

To enhance her knowledge about the ethical conduct of research, she is currently a graduate student in the online Certificate Program in Research Ethics at the University of Maryland. This graduate program represents one activity in the ?Middle East Research Ethics Training Initiative (MERETI) that is sponsored by the Fogarty International Center ? NIH. As part of this program, she is currently working on developing a sustainable degree program in research methodology and research ethics in Egypt.
