Biography:

Dr. Elmaghrabi is a Senior Nuclear Licensing Engineer at the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Waterford, Connecticut, U.S.A. Dr. Elmaghrabi is currently responsible of coordinating the interface between Millstone and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission involving the review and approval of plant design changes and other changes of licensing basis documents. Dr. Elmaghrabi held prior to that the position Supervisor Nuclear Core Design at Combustion Engineering Power Corporation and ABB Nuclear Power Systems. In this position, he was responsible of performing nuclear core design for initial and reload cores and performing criticality safety analyses of spent fuel pools and fuel manufacturing facilities. Dr. Elmaghrabi obtained his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Alexandria, Egypt, M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and PH.D. in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University.
