Tawfik is Founder Director of ECTP, Professor at MTI University, Spokesperson of FEPS, and Deputy-Director of ENHEP@ASRT. Tawfik is Team Leader of Egyptian Scientists joining ALICE at LHC, and Research Director at World Laboratory. In 2012, he obtained DSc in Physics and Mathematics, and in 1999 Dr.rer.Nat in High-Energy Physics. He is an editorial board member of IJTMP. Dr. Tawfik was awarded with DAAD-prize in 1998, and elected as Fellow of TWAS. He published two titles, and about 65 research papers in leading journals. He is serving as supervisor of numerous PhD and MSc theses at various Egyptian Universities.
