Within the framework of the Support to Cultural Diversity and Creativity in Egypt program, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina organized the twelfth and final workshop under the theme of “Arts in the Classroom” in Matrouh governorate, in the period between the 21st to the 24th of April, 2015. The workshop was held at the branch of the Exploratory Centres and Cities of Science and Technology in Marsa Matrouh. Thirty-Five students and 4 teachers participated in the event.
Fostered by “Arts in the Classroom”, the event comes under a series of interactive workshops that are specifically designed for the students of governmental schools, and are held all over Egypt. The workshops have been prepared to expose young students to the arts and, accordingly, to enhance their artistic talents and their understanding of culture.
