The BA Manuscripts Center is organizing this scientific seminar as part of its cultural season. The seminar will shed light on the significance of Ibn Al-Haytham and his writings in the East and the West. The seminar will also cover how he paved the way for the invention of the telescope, how he influenced Newton’s Color Theory, and how he excelled at measuring mountain heights and the height of the pole. An elite group of experts in philosophy of science will take part in the seminar.
