The lecture will cover the history of Egypt since the arrival of Alexander the Great, the power struggle that characterized the era, the Roman interference in Egypt’s internal affairs, and how Alexandria became the cultural capital of the Mediterranean where science, mathematics, astronomy, and medicine flourished.
