The BA Visits Department, in cooperation with Cultnat, is organizing this event on the occasion of the National Day of the city of Alexandria. The event aims to rejuvenate domestic tourism in the city and introduce the public to its heritage and most important landmarks.
The celebration will be held in collaboration with the Administration for Tourism and Summer Resorts; the Regional Organization For Tourism Development; the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University; and The Egyptian Friends of the BA Association.
The celebration will include a presentation on the most important archaeological and touristic landmarks in the city displayed on panoramic screens. The display, which utilizes nine panoramic screens, is the first of its kind. The event will also showcase artworks, such as sand drawing by Ayman Abd el-Latif and paintings of city landmarks by students and graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Additionally, the event will include folkloric Alexandrian performances.
