Celebrated on 4 January, World Braille Day  honors the memory of the genius Louis Braille, who invented the Braille method of reading and writing for the blind and visually impaired. It aims to revive the usage of Braille among blind people and raise awareness among sighted people about the struggles faced by the blind.
