With the aim of promoting public involvement in the process of economic, social, and cultural development, the BA has established the Center for Development studies. The Center supports the practice of good governance, the development of public policies, and the establishment of a democratic system. It presents future visions for comprehensive development in Egypt in the aftermath of the 25 January Revolution.

Established ten years after the BA inauguration, the Center will soon carry out its work in Alexandria and Cairo in fulfillment of the BA’s obligation to keep up with the development of the Egyptian society and address its needs.

The Center for Development Studies takes up the mission of the Dialogue Forum, which played a key role during recent years in entrenching the values of dialogue, tackling issues of Arab reform, encouraging volunteer work, combating corruption, promoting transparency, and fostering the participation of youth in public affairs.
