Human Trafficking Awareness Workshop

The Center for Democracy and Social Peace Studies (CDSPS) is announcing a call for applications for its Human Trafficking Awareness Training Workshop that will take place from 24 to 25 July 2016 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center (BACC). This is an interactive training program designed for a general and an unspecialized audience. It will feature informative and practical knowledge on human trafficking, rendering the participants better able to understand the topic. Contents of the workshop will mainly focus on providing an overview of human trafficking, generally covering all its elements and scopes; international response to human trafficking; the scope of human trafficking in Egypt; as well as case studies and expert reviews. An optional field trip to a shelter for victims of trafficking will be offered to the workshop participants.
