The Arts School Annual Celebration at the BA

The BA Arts Center organizes the Art School Annual Celebration, featuring the output of a continuous training throughout the year, as well as a display of the different arts produced by children. The event includes a number of concerts and art exhibitions.

The celebration will start on Thursday, 1 November 2018, with an instruments performance given by students of piano, violin, flute and drums classes.

On Thursday, 15 November 2018, at 7:00 pm, two arts exhibitions will be inaugurated. The first exhibition is entitled “The Workshop – the Creations of Children and Youth,” and includes a display of the output of children and youth who took part in the different workshops that were held during the mid-year and summer holidays. The exhibition will be held at the BACC East Exhibition Hall, and will run until Monday, 26 November 2018.

On Friday and Saturday, 16, 17 November, five art workshops will be held, in addition to a seminar entitled “The Relation between Art and Therapy” delivered by Ms. Wafaa Abdel Latif, MA Researcher in Educational Psychology and Head of the Mental Health Department at Absal Center. It will take place on Saturday, 17 November 2018, at 2:00 pm, in the BACC Lecture Hall.

A marionette show Tut, the Wise will take place on Sunday, 18 November 2018, whereby two morning shows will be held for students, and one evening show for the public at 6:00 pm.

The second exhibition is called “The World of Legends and Imagination,” and will be held in the BACC West Exhibition Hall until Saturday, 24 November 2018.

Students of the Ballet classes will give two performances on Thursday 29 November and Thursday 13 December 2018, at 7:00 pm in the BACC Great Hall.

This annual celebration will end with a performance by Suzuki Method students to celebrate New Year, on Wednesday, 26 December 2018, at 7:00 pm, in the BACC Great Hall.
