Shakespeare's Day

Alexandria— Celebrating William Shakespeare, the English poet and playwright, the BA Arts Center will organize a cinema program starting on Monday, 23 April 2007, entitled "Shakespeare in the Egyptian Cinema". For three days, the BA will present Egyptian movies based on Shakespeare works.

On Monday, 23 April 2007, Love is Forbidden, based on Romeo and Juliet, by Mohamed Karim, 1942.
On Tuesday, 24 April 2007, The Female Boss, based on Othello, by Hassan Reda, 1958.
On Wednesday, 25 April 2007, Beware of Eve, based on The Taming of the Shrew, by Fatin Abdel Wahab, 1962.
On Thursday, 26 April 2007, The Damned, based on King Lear, by Ahmed Yassin, 1979.

All shows will start at 20:00 hrs. at the BA Auditorium, Free entry.
