The BA Organizes the First Lecture of the “Preserving Nature” Initiative

The BA Sustainable Development Studies Program, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, organizes the first lecture of the initiative entitled “Preserving Nature: A Lifestyle and Human Commitment” on Saturday, 8 February 2020, at 2:00 pm, at the BA Conference Center. The lecture is delivered by Dr. Ahmed Wagdy, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and Head of the “Building National Capacities” Project.

The initiative comes as part of the International Egyptian Initiative for Linking International Environmental Treaties (Rio’s Treaties: Climate Change and Fighting Desertification and Biodiversity).

Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the BA, stressed the importance of the initiative in developing young people’s scientific knowledge and capacities. He also highlighted the role of the BA in implementing programs that raise awareness about vital environmental issues and international conventions that aim to achieve the goals of sustainable development for a better future.
