Admission

The Museum is open daily to the public according to the following schedule:

Opening hours

Sunday through Thursday	9:00 am	7:00 pm
Friday	1:00 pm	7:00 pm
Saturday	11:00 am	7:00 pm

The Museum is closed to visitors on national holidays.
Admission tickets are available at the ticket booth at the entrance of the Museum.
Carry-on bags are not allowed in the Museum.
The Museum is wheelchair-accessible.
Sketching and painting are not permitted in the Museum.
The Museum offers an admission discount for groups and schools.

Photography

Using flash photography is not permitted in the Museum. Although photography is permitted, a separate ticket has to be purchased for private, commercial photography as well as for video-recording.

Notes:

In case of using cameras for commercial purposes, a shooting permit has to be obtained from the concerned authorities in advance. An insurance of EGP 1000 is required. So long as neither damage nor violation of rules is committed, the amount will be reimbursed at the end of the shooting. An amount of EGP 50 will be charged for the use of electrical outlets.
