The course targets MA and PhD researchers specialized in calligraphy and Arabic manuscripts, chief critical editors and cataloguers, as well as Islamic arts and Arabic calligraphy specialists.
The course will focus on the importance of identifying different types of calligraphy in dating manuscripts, in case the researcher is not provided with the name of the copyist or the date of production of the manuscript.
