The BA Writing and Scripts Center and the Hellenic Institute of Egyptology in Athens organize the "Visiting Researcher Program". The Program includes two lectures: "The Function of Some Special Categories of Stars in the Ancient Egyptian Funerary Tests", and "The Cult of the Nile and the Element of Water as a Source of Inspiration on Late Antique Textiles". The first lecture is delivered by Prof. Alicia Maravelia, Founder and President of the Hellenic Institute of Egyptology, and Professor of Egyptology at the People's University of Athens, while the second lecture is given by Sophia Tsourinaki, Ancient Textile and Loom Specialist, and Tutor at SEN Heritage Looms, Athens.

The lectures are held on Sunday, 29 December 2019, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, in the BACC Meeting Room C.
