May Astronomy Night: Saturn the Wonderful Giant

Saturn is known as the Jewel of the Solar System. It is characterized by magnificent rings that make it a unique cosmic view. This month’s lecture is an intriguing exploration of Saturn, the wonderful giant, and its numerous amazing moons, through a big collection of spectacular images and movies, obtained by spacecraft that visited the planet and entered orbit around it.

Event Timeline:
 1. Date: 8 May 2014, at 5:00 p.m.
 2. Location: The BA Planetarium Theatre.
 3. Lecture (35 minutes).
 4. Contest, with 6 free planetarium tickets as prizes.
 5.  Observing session and live planetarium show.

 The lecture is conducted by Mr. Aymen Ibrahem, Senior Astronomy Specialist.
 Live planetarium show is conducted by Dr. Omar Fikry, Head of the Planetarium Section.
