Planetarium Science Center Sponsorship Packages and Benefits for 2008/09

The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is organizing its annual national and international events program as per the attached calendar for the fiscal year 1 July 2008—30 June 2009. The PSC is considered a leading Egyptian institution in informal education that complements the formal education system.
As a continuation of the tradition that started 5 years, the PSC is honored to be a partner and initiator of various annual events. All PSC events target school children and the public at large with the main mission of popularizing life-long science learning. The PSC events records very high participation rate reaching 7000 visitor.
The overarching theme of PSC 2008/09 events will be “Science and Technology our Bread and Butter” and will focus on educating children about science and technology to help them solve the feed, food, and fuel dilemma. Through science and hands-on activities, children will learn scientific thinking skills and values necessary for Egypt’s youth capacity building.
The PSC annual events represent a unique opportunity for Egyptian youth to learn through play. The national events are edutainment proceedings to prepare winning teams for international events. The PSC has both national and international partners as well as sponsors like the Egyptian Ministry of Education, Intel Corporation and the Swiss Development Agency.
Moreover, our Sponsorship Program provides an innovative way for corporations to take an acive role in the community through the PSC National & International Annual Events 2008/09. Our sponsor benefits maximize corporate visibility and provide unsurpassed exposure to the informal education community in addition to establishing new contacts, meeting with strategic partners, educators and financiers.
The PSC is also willing to join hands with partners and supporters willing to contribute to the success of BA’s informal education initiatives.

Sponsorship Benefits
Regular Sponsor ( EGP 10,000)
- Your company’s logo will appear on all the events promotional posters and banners displayed in the Planetarium Science Center (PSC), and on partners’ premises;
- Your company’s logo will appear on the PSC website with a hyper link to your company’s main website;
- Your support will be acknowledged in post events photos and reports displayed on PSC websites;
- One standard size booth located in the Booth’s area, where you can display your company’s posters and banners, and distribute your promotional materials, giveaways and samples.
Silver Sponsor ( EGP 20,000)

- One standard size booth located prominently in visible and high traffic location in the Booth’s area, where you can display your company’s posters and banners, and distribute your promotional materials, giveaways and samples;
- Your company’s banner will be displayed on the event’s main stage;
Gold Sponsor (EGP 30,000)
(All the above;)
- 2 company’s banners with agreed dimensions will be displayed in another 2 high traffic locations of your choice and in line with premises advertising regulations;
- Your generous support will be acknowledged in all press releases and media interviews;
- One high caliber representative from your company will attend the inauguration ceremony and may give a speech—depending on the schedule, VIP lunches or dinners, and all other VIP activities.
Platinum Sponsor (EGP 40,000)

- One premium size booth located at the main entrance (high traffic location) in the Booth’s area, where you can display your company’s posters and banners, and distribute your promotional materials, giveaways and samples;
- Your company’s banner will be displayed on the event’s main stage;
- 4 company’s banners with agreed dimensions will be displayed in another 4 high traffic locations of your choice and in line with premises advertising regulations;
- Two high caliber representative from your company will attend the inauguration ceremony and give a speech, VIP lunches or dinners, and all other VIP activities;
- Media representatives will be directed to your company’s logo to be highly featured.
