Science Film Festival 2014
13 March 2014
An open invitation for all filmmakers, producers and broadcasters. The Planetarium Science Center is hosting the Science Film Festival, initiated by the Goethe-Institute. In 2013 the festival received over 260 submissions from 40 countries. It aims to promote science literacy and facilitates awareness of contemporary scientific, technological and environmental issues through the medium of film and television content. During the festival period, the films are screened non-commercially in museums, schools, universities and other educational venues. The festival has grown considerably since its first edition in 2005, meanwhile becoming the largest event of its kind worldwide. In 2014, the theme is FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES, but as usual we welcome entries on all subjects and for all age groups. The online application form  must be submitted by March 31.
