April Astronomy Night: "Are We Alone in the Universe?"
13 April 2017
After the announcement of the discovery of seven Earth-like planets orbiting a nearby star, the question about the existence of life beyond our solar system persists.
What is the possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial life? Is it something reasonable or irrational? Do we rely on possibilities only? Are there any projects to look for extraterrestrial life? Are the published images of the newly discovered planets real? In the astronomy night for this month, Engineer Essam Jawda, the president of the Egyptian Society of Astronomy, will hold a lecture to answer these questions.
