Science Festivity 2015: When Science Becomes Yours!
15 April 2015

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is organizing the Ninth Science Festivity under the overarching theme of NATURE and its four elements: Air, Water, Earth and Fire; and what is their influence on our planet.

The two-day event consists of a variety of extracurricular activities including plenary sessions, hands-on workshops, interactive exhibits, in addition to the always intriguing Super Science Show. With this Festivity, we aim to communicate science to people of all ages and backgrounds.

A new fun and science games zone will be held, where science will be mixed with fun, through KG workshop (specifically for 4–6 years old kids).

Science Festivity 2015 will host an exhibition about plastic wastes extracted from sea water, entitled OUT TO SEA…LAST STOP? The Exhibition aims at increasing the public awareness to use plastic in a more conscious way. It will focus on the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Nile River.

Participate in the interactive knowledge experience offered at your fingertips; enjoy lifelong learning at our Science Village.

This is an open and free invitation for individuals, groups and families to join us at the Science Festivity 2015, 15–16 April 2015, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Plaza.

School visits are free-of-charge but upon prior reservation.
